I am a lifelong Republican who has spent my entire adult life-giving to our community. I have positively impacted the youth of our community through my work with youth sports, high school band boosters, and my 25 years of working with youth in the Boy Scouts of America. The work I do as a Rotarian and past president, of my club, has transformed our community.

I have spent a decade fighting for small local businesses as the Chairperson of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee. The work we have done in Inverness, Crystal River, the County, and in Tallahassee has positively impacted thousands of Citrus County business owners and employees.

About Me
I moved to Floral City in early 1992. I joined the Chronicle after St. Leo University and have 28 years of advertising and marketing experience.
I began to lead the digital effort of the Citrus County Chronicle in 2004. Now, I am responsible for the Chronicle’s digital revenue as well as the day-to-day operation of two weekly newspapers in Marion County.
My role in the newspaper business is on the advertising, marketing, and digital presentation - not the news side of the business.
My wife, of 24 years, and I have two children. They are both successful products of the Citrus County School system, graduating from Citrus High School. Our son works in youth development for Citrus County YMCA. Our daughter is a student at Seminole State College.
Trina, my wife, and I met at the Citrus County Chronicle and she has spent her career in the marketing and business side of the publishing business. Trina was the Marketing and Operations Director until recently when she was named Publisher.
As with any CEO or top leader, the buck stops with the publisher but that does not mean Trina directs news content. For that, a newspaper has an executive editor and managing editors.
Outside of work I love to be involved in our community. I am an Eagle Scout and the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 457, Inverness. Using the aims of Scouting I help build character, demonstrate responsible citizenship, and personal fitness to the youth of our community.
When I am not in the outdoors with the scouts the service I give through the Rotary Club of Inverness brings me great personal satisfaction. As a past President of the club, I have lived the Rotary motto “Service Above Self” for Citrus County.
